Bas Kalaitjis and Jayden Davis spent three days on the Gold Coast from Wednesday, 10 June to Friday, 12 June representing CARR Australia at the Super Expo 2026, the industry gathering that draws businesses from across the curtain, blind, awning, and cladding sectors.

On our stand, the pair demonstrated CARR’s range of pneumatic eyelet machines, walking visitors through how the machines handle the technical demands of eyelet work while improving efficiency and consistency on the factory floor. Conversations ranged from long-standing customers catching up on their operations to new contacts discovering the range for the first time — each one a chance to talk through how the machinery fits into their day-to-day work.

The Super Expo Awards Dinner rounded out the trip on a more relaxed note. For Jayden, it meant finally meeting in person many of the industry contacts previously known only by phone and email — a small thing, but one that makes future conversations easier. Bas, already familiar with much of the room, helped make those introductions happen.

CARR Australia left the Gold Coast with new contacts, renewed relationships, and a clearer sense of where CARR’s pneumatic eyelet machine range fits across the curtain, blind, awning, and cladding industries. Events like this are a reminder that we’re part of an industry, not just a supplier to it. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand. For those unable to attend, our pneumatic eyelet machine range is on display at our showroom in Pendle Hill, Sydney, and our team welcomes the opportunity to discuss your requirements in person or by phone.
