Printed Mesh: Renewing St Paul’s Church

Printed Mesh on Scaffold Renewing St Paul’s
TE WHAKAHOUTANGA I A PĀORA TAPU

While the year 2020 was challenging for most due to global pandemic, the team at St Paul’s worked tirelessly on the massive task restoring Auckland’s St Paul’s Church. Over many years the front of St Paul’s had slowly deteriorated so for the first time in 50 years, St Paul’s Symonds Street, Auckland underwent extensive restoration by Salmond Reed Architects.

When we were approached by the team, we jumped at the opportunity to help out by supplying the printable scrim to cover the scaffold throughout the restoration.

This beautiful scrim was designed by James Bowman. It features the original plans for the building by William Skinner, as well as some stunning native birds, and a timeline telling the story of Auckland and St Paul’s.

Made from Carrflex® PVC Mesh, and printed by our friends at Adgraphix, this mesh helped create a safe environment for workers, pedestrians and motorists, whilst also creating a striking image for branding or promotion.

Carr Group has technical expertise in coated mesh, offering PVC and PVC-free versions of varying weights and grades, also with options for fire retardancy. Speak to a member of the Carr Group about your requirements for fence and scaffold wrap.
