Working through COVID-19

CARR Australia would like to advise our customers, suppliers and associates that we are operating in full capacity.

We continue to have practices in place which align with Australian Ministry of Health guidelines.

We continue to monitor the situation closely as we take the health and safety of our team and partner businesses seriously, and our thoughts are with the communities impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

With the outbreak of COVID-19, CARR Group have implemented safeguards that comply with both the New Zealand Ministry of Health and Australian Ministry of Health guidelines, along with some additional steps to mitigate risk of infection and the associated impacts.

Business continuity – and supporting you:

As a result of implemented measures we have no planned or current need for office closures, and the CARR Group has every intention of continuing to provide ongoing safe levels of service and support to our partner businesses, and the community.

Our team will be available through normal communication channels, continuing to support and update our customers and suppliers during this uncertain period.

Warehousing functions on all of our premises continue without compromise at this time, and we have contingency plans in place to enhance our ability to mitigate future risks to operational functions.

Customer visits to CARR Group premises:

There are valid concerns over interactions that potentially involve some level of human contact and we are determined to minimise any risk to our staff and visitors.

We have created safe zones in our entrance foyers and showrooms where our team can still effectively engage with customers in a manner that follows guidelines around safe social distances and interaction practices.

Additionally we have increased cleaning in high use areas and have distributed cleaning and sanitising products across our offices.

CARR Group staff visiting customers:

We are determined to minimise potential risk and we have cancelled non-critical business-related travel. However, if a CARR member visits a customer they have been instructed to minimise physical contact and follow social distancing practices.

While there is a great deal of uncertainly currently, we pledge to continue making our decisions with the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and communities as our highest priority.
